Consuming mushrooms and mushroom elixirs have been another arm of changing my lifestyle to heal my thyroid and overall health. Their ability to support our immune systems so fiercely is something I felt I should share; given the current scare of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Mushrooms: The Internet of Nature
Mushrooms are like the internet of nature. They communicate with the trees, providing them vitamins and minerals, while the trees provide sugar back. It’s a truly symbiotic relationship at work 24/7. Additionally, mushrooms are some of the post potent, healing plants on our planet.
For instance, I recently discovered that Chaga mushrooms are specifically strong in repelling viruses like COVID-19 (Coronavirus). They are being utilized by many people in China during this time. Why Chaga?

A substance called hispidin is responsible for the potent anti-viral and antiseptic power these mushrooms hold. The hispidin in Chaga mushrooms activates specific cells in your immune system to seek out invader cells and repel them. This is why they are so helpful during intense illnesses such as cancer.
