Are you looking for an easy, dairy-free dessert?
If you’re in the mood for pudding, but you can’t have dairy, here is an easy, dairy-free dessert with 5 ingredients or less.
Many gut-reset protocols require you to avoid dairy. In addition to dairy, you may have to avoid gluten and processed sugars. This dessert adheres to those restrictions as well.
Please keep in mind that you can add other things such as cocoa powder, nuts, or fruit.
Creamy Coconut Mouse (Dairy-Free)
- 1 can of full-fat coconut cream chilled overnight
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or 5-10 drops of Stevia (modify to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- berries or chocolate chips for a topping
Open the can of coconut cream and drain the water from the can to leave only the cream behind. Scoop out the cream into a bullet-style blender, or put in a bowl to beat with a hand mixer. Add the vanilla, maple syrup (or stevia), and cinnamon. Beat to desired texture. Add fresh berries or chocolate chips on top. Enjoy!
